How BuildMatch started.
BuildMatch started with two mates from opposite ends of the industry: a chippie with more than a decade running high-end residential builds, and a partner from tech and consulting.
The frustrations were the same on every site. Payments chased for months. Budgets living in a dozen spreadsheets. The same invoice typed in three times, and no reliable way to know who you could actually trust. Every other industry sorted this years ago. Construction got left behind.
So we built the platform we wished we'd had: a private network of the best builders and trades, with the software to run the whole job in one place. Estimating and takeoffs, live budgets, variations, milestone payments, invoicing, and Xero. You stay on the tools and the admin runs itself.

BuildMatch was built by people who have been on the tools and run the sites, not by a software company that picked construction out of a list.
Only the best get in
A private network, and a deliberately small one. Most members are referred by someone who has worked with them, and every application is read either way. Not every company that applies is taken on.
One place instead of nine
The building was never the hard part. It's everything around it, spread across spreadsheets, inboxes and half a dozen apps that don't talk. It sits on the one job here, so the week goes back into the build.
Built around how you work
No two builders run a job the same way, so you configure it to yours rather than the other way round. And when a member needs something the platform doesn't do yet, we build it.
